Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ExpenseAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

ExpenseAI is a mobile application that helps users track and categorize their expenses through AI-powered receipt scanning and analysis. The service includes:

  • Receipt scanning and data extraction
  • Automatic expense categorization
  • Spending analytics and insights
  • Cloud synchronization across devices
  • Data export capabilities

ExpenseAI Premium Subscription Terms

Subscription Plans and Pricing

  • ExpenseAI Premium Monthly: $4.99 USD per month, automatically renewing every month
  • ExpenseAI Premium Yearly: $49.99 USD per year, automatically renewing every 12 months (equivalent to $4.17 per month)
  • Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial of premium features. Free trial is only available once per Apple ID or Google account

Premium Features

ExpenseAI Premium subscription includes:

  • Unlimited receipt scanning (vs. 10 receipts per month for free users)
  • Advanced analytics and spending insights
  • Data export capabilities (CSV and PDF formats)
  • Cloud backup and synchronization across all devices
  • Priority customer support
  • Custom expense categories and tags
  • Monthly and yearly spending reports

Auto-Renewal Terms

  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date
  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account upon purchase confirmation
  • Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, at the same price you initially paid
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. You will be notified of price changes in advance, and changes will take effect at your next renewal

Managing Your Subscription

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, go to your device's app store settings:
    • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → ExpenseAI → Cancel Subscription
    • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → ExpenseAI → Cancel
  • Cancellation Effect: If you cancel, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. The subscription will not renew after the current period ends
  • Free Trial Cancellation: If you cancel during your free trial period, you will lose access to premium features immediately. Any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

Refunds and Billing Issues

  • Refund Policy: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Refund requests are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) according to their respective policies
  • Billing Disputes: For billing questions or disputes, contact Apple App Store or Google Play Store customer support, as they handle all subscription billing
  • Failed Payments: If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may be suspended. You will need to update your payment method in your app store account

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the security of the app
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Limitations of Service

  • AI extraction accuracy may vary depending on receipt quality
  • Service availability depends on internet connectivity
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Maximum file size limits apply for receipt uploads

Intellectual Property

ExpenseAI and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
